Looking for a quality 9mm carbine, suggestions?

If sticking to readily available, NR status 9mm, I would say CX4 Storm
I like the compact length of it, and it has a last shot hold open and bolt release whereas most others do not.
Pretty rough trigger but that's about the only complaint

Raven 9 is intriguing though

I have several thousand round thru my jrc 9mm. I've taken it apart once when new to see how it all went together. It functions 100%. I've only given a quick spray of g96 and wipe with a rag on the bolt an feed ramp several times
Very accurate

I guess I’m the only TNW fanboy then.

We have two. The only issues you get is when you use Winchester 115 gr bulk ammo. Not enough oomph with a brand new recoil spring.

Using 124gr campro handloads it has been 100% reliable. I put a magpul MOE grip and the AR-15 forend adapter on mine and it is much more Ergonomic than you think.

Easy to take apart, multi caliber, and reasonably priced!

.22LR conversion coming soon too!

I have a JRC in .45 with all of the factory revisions done to correct its function.
I’ve replaced the OEM short handguard with a BCM KMR slimline FF rail, put in a decent trigger and changed the pistol grip.
While it is reliable and dependable with Glock mags, good trigger and much improved with the changed out rail/hand guard, the take down for field stripping is utterly retarded.
For that reason alone I would recommend steering clear of JRC...

Having said that though: it is a fun little rifle, replicates most of the ergos of an AR, and can be had relatively cheap, compared to similarly equipped PCCs

My vote would be cx4 (love the two I owned. And two friends bought them as well)

The mpx

Or a NR evo.

I can't stand the look of the areo, Jr, theron, etc.

At that point just shoot 223.

I have two JRs. Very reliable, ambidextrous controls and ejection.

FX9 that Wolverine is bringing in looks promising but still at the lab AFAIK.

CX4 has too much plastic and nothing like an AR.

If quality is your overriding criterion, then the SIG MPX (as the natural successor to the HK MP5) is arguably the best pistol-calibre SMG in the world. Accept no cheap-azz substitutes!

Another vote for the JR Carbine. I've got one and it's a great shooter and it never gives me issues. If you aren't sold on the looks, check out the pics in the Jr carbine thread. IMO A longer handguard makes a world of difference.

We have run quite few different guns on our range. The CX4 lasted longer than any, is simple to disassemble and clean, and not all that expensive.
