Looking for a rabbit defense shotgun

Gates at the entrances is the first thing, locked all the times because rabbits is lazy and will move to easy pickings. Once you do that, make up camera bodies out of wood and place them high so they are seen but are hard to distinguish. Everything should be locked on your farm. Amazon sells big yellow steel wheel boots for $100 for 4, get 'em and use 'em where they can be seen. Finally carry your rifle slung all the time in the yard so observers can see it. They will move on to easy pickings. ohhh wait, RABBITS! Shotgun em then!

Where I live and camp often worry about rabbits, heard some people say slug/buckshot/slug /buckshot but wondering if I should go pump or a sxs, if it's a rabid killer bunny I may need to pump both barrels in him at once but would have no follow up shots, and we all know how fast rabbits can sprint, just need advice don't want to be rabbit food next hiking season

Where I live, there are thousands of feral bunnies ..... many descended from the ferocious store bought variety. The auto malls are the worst .... infested like nobody’s business. It’s within city limits, so there’s absolutely no protection with shotguns .... maybe I would be allowed a rape whistle to call for help (there’s probably a noise prohibition even then). You can’t even call for help in the cities

In the city, we are at the mercy of those feral bunnies.

And then there are the urban coyotes and raccoons.

Those giant rabbits were particularly known to put on astonishing animal-on-animal fights in the Coliseum of ancient Rome.
I can't believe some people now in the days keep those wild, vicious and unpredictable animals as pets...
