I just purchased a 12GA Remy 870 "Special Purpose Magum" with a parkerized finish and a 20" barrel with sights. Serial number check puts production year as 1994, even though the gun is immaculate and probably unfired. It's a very nice piece and definitely a keeper!
However, because this shotty only has a 4 shot mag tube and is therefore inadequate by any self-respecting gun nut's standards (lol), I am looking to upgrade it with a Remington +3 extension with a parkerized finish, so it matches the gun perfectly (I'm not interested in aftermarket parts from other makers, by the way.... the style doesn't seem as appealing as the original part, which has the original Remington finish and includes a barrel clamp for extra support).
Anyway, I've gone through most of the sponsors' websites and couldn't find anything (a few had aftermarket stuff though, but that's a no go); I've even searched via Google for online stores in Canada selling this item and it still turned out nothing. Dlask appears to carry the +2 extension, but that's obviously not the one I need. Finally, nothing in the EE either...
Does anyone have a source for these? If so, info would be very appreciated!
