I am looking for a user review of the NZ-85B the Norinco copy of the CZ-85. I have had several Norinco handguns and have been happy with them for the most part. I am now looking at the NZ-85 but want more information about it and want to hear what some owners think of it. I have tried the search feature but nothing comes up. So I am posting an open question to anyone who has used the Norinco NZ.

Thanks, I like norinco so I assumed the NZ-85 would be the same quality of their other products. Just wanted to hear some user opinion.

I had the NZ for a few years.Put alot of rounds through it,all i can say is it was an ok gun.I would rather spend the extra $$$ and buy a CZ.You should check Armco cause he has a NZ in mint cond that he smoothed out and worked the trigger for a good price.

I saw the armco one, it is an ok price. I am not sure of the condition though. I think I would rather buy a new one from marstar (once they get them) and pay the $125 to get it tuned. Something about a new gun.

In the case of NZ-85B, a brand new gun may not be the best deal because factory guns come with super heavy and dreadful trigger pulls, and it takes a lot of dry firing or a trigger job to make it better.

If a used one is in good condition, you may be happier with it than a NIB one.

I agree!Plus the one Gunnar has he fixed up and did the trigger for a friend of his who didnt really shoot it so you just know it's going to be a good one.
