Looking for recommendations on a decent scope around the $500 mark. Not looking to buy right away but want to see what everyone says

First focal I would go with the Arken 6-24 with the 34mm tube. I intend to get one. My Vortex experience is very good. My Sightron 36x is also very good.

It will really help if you let us know what rifle it’s going on and what you want to do with it, hunting, target shooting, etc., …
Well, apparently the other optics thread about Cabelas Intensity scopes where I was ridiculed by experts, says that if you spend anything over $100 it's a complete waste of money, so ponder that.

Me, I'll stick to Leupolds and 4200 Bushnells.

Temu has 3X9 and 6X24 scopes for under 50 bucks.

Something to look into, considering there may soon be nothing left to mount them on.

And free shipping! :)

Check out Riton. I bought one some time ago for my varmint rifle 4-18 x 45. I liked it so much when I was looking for a scope for my rimfire bench rest rifle, I bought a 6-24 x 50. Both were well under your budget, both have more features and clearer glass for less money than than more popular (better marketed) scopes. Lifetime warranty as well.
