Just getting into 50bmg and am looking for a club that allows 50bmg on the range. I was wondering if anyone knows a range that allows 50bmg around eastern ontario? Thank-you.

Thanks everyone for the replies. I think EOSC is the nearest. @anyone who is a member of the ORA: I was looking at the events schedule on the website and I was wondering what the ORA practices are? Thanks :)

ORA practices are just that, day set aside to practice, open to all members and guests. Borden is the only DND range used by the ORA that is templated to the .50BMG. However please don't think we are not a friendly group if we ask you to kindly pizz off and move 5 targets down with your .50 or .338LM or anything with a muzzle brake on it;)

Usually the distance that will be shot that day will be posted on the website. Amiens range is shorted distances 300-600 and Mons Range can be anything from 300-1000 yards.

Don't worry you won't be alone. There are a few others that go to Borden to shoot the big stuff. Just don't try to sneek in among the TR shooters. Funny thing though, they usually only shoot in the mornings and take off by noon. While the TR and F Class guys will shoot all day.

Mons is about the only range you could access, through the ORA that is long enough to play with a .50 at extended ranges. Hardly any point in shooting a .50 at shorter ranges, except to make noise. Connaught is not templated for .50.
Almost bought a .50 when I lived in the Eastern Arctic. One of the few places where a .50 could be taken out for safe recreational long range plinking or even hunting, without the risk of attracting unfavourable attention.

With a little searching we have a spot in Ontario that we can safely shoot 2k+;-> Oh yeah!
