Looking for a Shorty but which one

Right now its a toss up between the diplomat 7.5'' from socom or 10.5'' recon upper from noveske or a 10.5'' LMT.
Does anyone have any first hand experience with these rifles and pictures holding it so i can get an idea of size.
I finished a long range 24'' AR now im looking for the other end of the spectrum a nice CQB.
 
Have a 10.5" LMT, good so far (after a minor repair).

Waiting for my 10.5" Noveske upper to match either the LMT or Colt lower.

The 7.5" looks pretty cool too.
