Glock

No particular reason. I just enjoy target shooting and would like to have a small collection of hand guns, and in that collection I would enjoy having a really small useable restricted pistol. I’m leaning toward a 9 mm or maybe a .45, since I already shoot these types of ammunition.

I'd go with the G26 of your choices but if it were me I'd just get a restricted G19 with the shortest legal barrel possible if not 12(6)...

G19 w/ 106mm Lone Wolf Black Oxide barrel from Questar
Sig Sauer P229R w/ 106mm Factory barrel from Wolverine Supplies
STI Ranger II w/ 106mm Factory Bull barrel from Freedom Ventures or Smokin' Gun FX.

All pretty similar in price when everything is said and done, Glock being the cheapest, then STI, then Sig. All available in 9mm. All available new.

Thanks,

Brad

I voted for the Kimber (no surprise :D). Compact Stainless II (cost around $1K) :

I have one of these Kimbers and it is a nice little package. (my winter carry gun)

You might also consider the Beretta 92FS Compact L. (my summer carry gun) 109mm barrel and about 5" high with a flush fit mag.

Ballox is 100% correct - for $650 the M&P 9mm is awesome value. But some things are just beyond common sense and reason - like paying almost 3 times that for this just to punch little holes in paper

The rough bubbly spot on the slide is shoe-goo I tried to apply to keep the metal thumb break on my holster from scratching the slide...

Very nice and very true! something just cannot judge by price. This one make the other HK look like.....:D It is the combination of art, workmanship, angle and devil at the same gun. Love it.
