Looking for a source of bullet casting equipment. Any one know of a good resanable store that has it all?
Looking to get into casting and would need to buy some items for the basic set up.
would probably need a source of good quality moulds, lubrisizer, etc’

phishroy pm me I am getting into casting pretty serious... and I bought a bunch of stuff that was ok but there is some really good stuff out there too but it cost big money... I can give you the lowdown on my experiences and help you out with getting what you need to get started.

...Higginsons for Lee stuff, except 6 cavity moulds which they don't stock.

 Tom and Andrew must have been out of stock that day. Or Lee put the specific mold you wanted on back-order.

Every time I went in for a 6-cavity, Tom and Andrew had them.

If the dollar was still at par, I'd recommend you try Mid-South Shooter's Supply. Great prices and selection and they're Canadian friendly.

If your budget can stand it get the RCBS Pro Melter. The Lee "Dripomatic" pots will work but you will save yourself endless frustration by going with the Pro Melter right from the start.

I now tned to buy my molds direct from Lyman. I have found it easier and often cheaper than going anywhere else though Ebay can be a good source IF you know your prices and bid accordingly.

as well. Great bunch of knowledgeable guys there who are always willing to help out those new to the hobby.

You should also get a copy of LYman's "Cast Bullet Handbook". Read it a couple of times. The book will move you along the learning curve quickly and save you time in the end.

Take Care
