Looking for a source of Mosin nagantstripper clips.

I got mine from Numrich as well . New and well made but they had a shiney, yellowie color , so , I used a propane torch to "age" them somewhat .

Ok, its off topic, but how exactly is one supposed to use stripper clips in MN's? I have an M44, and recently picked up some Hungarian surplus, however I couldn't figure out out to get the rounds in the gun. I insert the loaded clip on the guide rails, and push down on the rounds, but nothing happens. Is there some secret, or do I just have to forcefully (and I mean forcefully) hammer them down?

Bear in mind the commercial clips aren't as good as the milspec ones. The best ones are the Finnish made VKT clips with the little retainer tabs. I have a small stash of those which are NOT for sale ;) They work like "butta" ;)

I find them pretty much worthless myself, no comparison to say 7,92x57 stripper clips in terms of ease of use. You have to make sure that the rims of the rounds are each on top of one another. When you look at the rounds in the clip the rims should be like this / / / / / , if they are like this / / / \ / they will jam.
