I am looking for ideas to replace a SSG3000 Patrol stock.

There are few options coming from the US or Europe but considering that there is not that much of them compared to other platforms...not many of them are around.

I am looking for ideas and experience from people who have done it. If any would like to share pictures of their build, I would appreciate!

Also which company have imported it for you?

Looking for something like the jet-01 from Scandinavian arms or the Vision.

Thanks!

Go big tactical is the vision dealer for Canada. Vision in the USA won’t export.
Sorta limited, when McMillan got sold they scrapped/discontinued a lot of their stock models. The ssg3000 was one of the ones they stopped making.

Don’t waste any money on a grs stock they’re junk. The black target model stock (is painted laminate wood) is nice but was never really changed from the str200 ergo for scope use

I was just about to reach out to Scandinavian Arms about how to get a Jet-01, I'll let you know what they say. I thought about the Vision as well, they seem very well made but super bulky, more like AIAX ergo's which I didn't love. The Jet-01 looks perfect.

I have a SSG 3000 patrol in a GRS bolthorn chassis. I like it. However the jet and Vision look to be more modern. The GRS has pic rail on the bottom, no handguard but there is a kRG like spigot pic extension for bipods etc. I like it, but again no M-lok handguard, arca rails etc so a bit dated compared to current chassis. Also it was expensive. The SSG has the Sako TRG issue when it comes to mags and accessories, $$$ 😬

I’ve reached out to Scandinavian arms, haven’t heard anything yet. Going to keep trying, I’d really like to get one. I know they have made they’re way into Canada before, there was one for sale on the EE last year. Kicking myself for not grabbing it when I could.

I have a GRS Sporter on mine right now and they’re definitely comfortable so I’d imagine the bolthorn is as well.
If I can’t get the Jet I’ll probably end up going the Vision route. A friend of mine has a vision chassis for PRS build and he loves it, they’re very well made.

Any of you guys know a source for extra mags? I’ve been searching everywhere, no luck yet. Found some Norwegian and Swedish websites that have some in stock but can’t figure out if shipping mags to Canada is legal yet.

Haven’t looked for mags in a long time. Accurate mag was making some for the ssg3000. I never located any and finding Sig mags was also rare. Everyone seems to be sold out all the time.

Might have to use an importer to bring in some of the 10 round accurate SSG 3000 mags.

I ended up swapping my SSG3000 stock for the Jet‑01 from Scandinavian Arms. Super solid, fit perfectly, and feels way nicer to shoot. I ordered it through a small importer in Germany-I think it was Tactix Arms.
I did a google search and didn’t get anything back, how long ago did you import it?

Here the info. I have for SIG SSG3000 mags.
The fellow I dealt with was Joachim Hollenkim in, Bergen Norway. I have a web address of www.vertebrae.no
And email is: support@vertebrae.
I paid $68 per 5 rnd. SIG manufactured magazine, but this was 10 years ago, funny thought it was 5 years ago😄.
Was great to deal with, but was told they could not export stocks or barrels out of Country.
Hope this helps, but maybe not in business anymore???
Cheers Dale Z 👍

Update on the Jet-01 chassis:

Scandinavian Arms never did get back to me, but Airgun Source Canada is the Canadian distributor for Scandinavian Arms. I reached out to them and they said they could definitely bring in the Jet-01 for the SSG3000, just waiting to hear back on timeline and price. Based off what I’ve seen on other websites in Swedish Kr, I’m guessing it’ll be around the $2500 mark. Not cheap for a chassis, but the Vision comes out to basically the same price and the Jet is 1.5lbs lighter which I like.
