I have a new Stevens 200 coming in .300 Win Mag, and am contemplating restocking it in a nice walnut or Salt and Pepper laminate. Does anyone know of anyplace in Canada who sells and ships new stocks other than synthetic? Or at least an importer of Boyds stocks? My search keeps coming up empty handed. Thanks all in advance.

I just ordered one from Boyds last week. A pepper laminated for a long action Savage. You have to finish it yourself (light sanding and coating of your choice) but it's under $100 US so no problem with import/export permit. They were out of stock for pretty much all their Savage/Stevens model and told me to expect 8-12 weeks.
That's interesting. I would be very interested in ordering a stock from them, but I've been worried about it being stopped at the border, and I'd be out the cash. So if it's under $100, they just ship it straight through?
