Well you might have bought it in 2023 but the price ain’t from 2023… more like 1980 lol. I don’t know if you are serious in you enquire, but powder is more like $90/lb these days. Good luck!

Wow, that beats $105USD/8 lbs price I used to pay back in the 90's. I switched over to Varget in 1996 when it was the new kid on the block and it was the same price.

I have a box of Dominion Imperial 32-40 with a $4.95 price tag.

I remember buying Gevelot 308 ammo for my dad for Christmas when I was 14yo. $8/box.

Minimum wage then was $2/hr. Min wage now is $15/hr, a 7.5 fold increase. That would make the $8 then equivalent to $60 now.

Your correct! My father worked for Dupont for 40 years and they were actually allowed to buy powder and got discounts on Remington guns.

My wife worked at Du Pont but not until they merged in 1999 with the company she worked for, long after they stopped making powder.
