Tradeex Canada! First off, I am not affiliated with them in any way, but bought a Beretta Model 89 from them about 6 months ago. Although winter hasn't let me get it out as much as I hoped, I am very happy with the pistol. High quality, larger framed, slightly heavier target pistol, and it's hard to find a bad review. Some people put them on par with the High Standards and Model 41, but that's all personal preference. Some reviews indicate that the 87T had big shoes to fill in following the 89.
Anyway, surfing the advertisers last night I noticed that Tradex finally has some new pistols posted on their website, and they have TWO 89's! And they are cheaper than I paid! One has the large target grips and doesn't mention magazines, for $325, and the other has the standard grips and two mags for $350! I paid $425 plus tax and shipping for mine with two mags, but it came in an original but broken plastic case as well.
I posted here and on the Beretta forums to get some information, here are the links if anyone is interested. I'd like to see these go to a good home, and build up the 89 information here on Gunnutz! For $325, that's a much better pistol than an entry level Buckmark or Mark III IMO, but I don't need two! I still need to get mine tweaked, the overtravel adjustment screw was giving me too little travel, but I think I'm good to go now.
