Looking for a Thompson Center Hawken lock

My TC Hawken misfires more than it fires. I've used this rifle a lot over the years in black powder competitions. The hammer is not hitting the cap hard enough. I've tried different nipples and different caps. If some one has a new or good used lock for sale I am interested.

Buy a drop-in replacement made by L&R. Check their website or go to Track of the Wolf. Percussion is about $95.

Maybe it just needs a new main spring. L&R are a good lock, but to save a few dollars the spring might be your first bet.

Have you done a good cleaning/ and light oiling? Screws not over tightened ? make sure it doesn't have an old cap stuck in the hammer cup.
