I will also say that if it is recoil sensitivity you need to learn proper technique, not comensate with more gadgets. Recoil of a .223 is not hard to deal with with proper fitting of the stock, and a proper shooting position. Adding a muzzle brake will make the noise worse, which can cause a serious flinch, and will make practicing any technique go to sh*t pretty quick.
Just as an example my GF can shoot my .243 without issue, but when my father in law who is much taller and heavier tries it he complains. He can shoot a lot bigger guns without issue, but the stock on that .243 is too short for him, and the short barrel makes it sound louder.
