I've always heard that the extra mags and bayonets are long gone. It's easier to get small things out,compared to whole rifles.

I have an SVT 40 bayonet I'd sell.

The real SVT 40 bayonets are long gone as those were pretty good sharp knifes. Lots of soldiers took them when they left army, hence all gone. Mags were sold off to USA and Italy in the beginning of 90th. It was easier to get those out of the country so those were dumped to those two countries.

You can make one yourself.

Get a regular svt40 then get the barrel shortened,drilled and tapped. shorten your stock and handguard and off you go. That is how partisans used to do it.

I really, really want to find a pre bubba'd one try my hand at it... Wouldnt it be labour intensive? shortening the bbl and stuff?

Not if you have the tools to get the barrel off & stick it in a lathe.
