Hey CGN, I'm needing a new air rifle, I had a Marksman 1792 but had very poor luck with it. I don't want to spend a lot and don't need a lot of power (less than 495 fps would work great) looking for something accurate and more reliable than the marksman.
Thanks!

Thanks! I also got looking at a Webley & Scott rebel, bit more money but the variable pump would be nice for shooting pigeons in the machinery shed if you want to only pump a few times and not risk punching holes in the roof.

You're in Ontario - are you near a TSC Store? Another thread on CGN mentioned that TSC has/had Daisy 953 rifles. The 953 is a plastic stock (and lesser barrel) version of the Daisy 853, used by Cadets and for biathlon training, both under legal limits. The action is excellent, 5-shot clips (not mags :)). The whole thing is repairable/maintainable, as opposed to a cheap-o that you throw away when the seals start to go. If you can pick one up, I doubt you'll be disappointed.

Just bought a diana panther 21 - 170 dollars .I spent 35 dollars for the proper spring to bring it up to 570 fps. It wont go through a steel roof but it will take a pigeon down.I installed a bushnell elite 3500 2x7 scope that i set the parallex at 25 yards. I took it out yesterday and was whacking grapes at 25 yards 9 out of 10 times.Great reactive targets and a fun little rifle.

If you don't mind a springer, German quality from a top notch vendor:
