I used to own a Ruger Mark 2
Loved it, but am interested in the 22/45 model i think its called. anyone own one?

Yes, It's a great gun. It's still very much a Ruger Mk whatever as far as feel and action parts go. Simply that the frame is doctored up to mimic a 1911 for feel.

If you go ahead I definetly recomend paying the little bit extra for the version with the replaceable grip scales. It allows you to switch grips if you wish or you can pack out the spacing with card or sheet plastic spacers to suit your grip. The cheaper version with the integral grips is much too thin for most adult hands. There's fixes for this but by the time you pay for the fix you may as well have simply paid for the one with the nice wood grip scales and have had done with it.

i have one... not a single bad thing to say about it...

some people compain about the take down being too hard... but its really not, took me 10 minutes and NO tools to do it the first time... and youtube helps

shot well over 25000 rounds through it before I dissembled for cleaning,

accurate, reliable, good price cant go wrong with it
