Yes, It's a great gun. It's still very much a Ruger Mk whatever as far as feel and action parts go. Simply that the frame is doctored up to mimic a 1911 for feel.
If you go ahead I definetly recomend paying the little bit extra for the version with the replaceable grip scales. It allows you to switch grips if you wish or you can pack out the spacing with card or sheet plastic spacers to suit your grip. The cheaper version with the integral grips is much too thin for most adult hands. There's fixes for this but by the time you pay for the fix you may as well have simply paid for the one with the nice wood grip scales and have had done with it.
