If have a Bass Pro nearby, the Remington 11-87 in wood fits your budget.
Look at the Asena RC7 (???) from Corwin Arms.
$317.
There is a thread on them. It's what I'm using for clays, so much fun.
The beretta 391 was a favorite for a lot of shooters as well as the 390 and the 300 series with interchangeable chokes. I used one at one point for 5 years. I shot every clay games with it as well as hunting and it never let me down.

A cheap semi with removable chokes. Buy the one that fits you best. There is a Rem 1100 2 3/4" with removable chokes on the EE right now for $500 That would not decent clay gun. As long as it fits.
Hey Maritime,
I am near a Bass Pro, I checked online and they have them with synthetic stock only....don't see any in wood.
They are nice though, thank you.

Hey Ben,
Just had a look, its nice.
Thanks,
Coach
So Steelcitycoach, how did you make out?
Just start buying them. You can never have enough shotguns. Then you can always shoot a different gun and you'll never be an A class shooter. Oh wait, that's me.
