This is not a WTB post - just looking for advice.

Hi Folks, can anyone give me any advice on locating a rear tangent sight assembly that will work for this Inglis High Power? It doesn't need to be a true Canadian Inglis sight, just one that will work - did FN make a tangent variety that would work? Are there any parts guns out there or is that a dead end route to take?

Looking for advice and with any luck pointed in the right direction.

thanks and regards

Scott

Anyone else find a source for a tangent rear sights for a CH series Hi power ?
Do Belgian tangent rear sights fit ? I know they have 2 different increments, one for with stock and one without.

Trudeau has single handedly killed any intrinsic collector value our handguns have as we can't do anything with them, but all the talk of tangent sights confuses me.
My understanding was that this sight aperture was initially only for a Chinese contract, and then later, and in very sparing numbers, did they make tangent models for Commonwealth forces usage, and both these models came with a buttstock/holster that fastened to the frame of the pistol via a cut out in the back strap.

Any High Power with a tangent sight that doesn't have allowance for a buttstock would have me scratching my head, and I would expect the tangent sight to be Chinese more often than not. I'd also be wondering where the holster is.

To just slap a tangent sight on a Browning High Power, is kinda odd, and would detract from the piece in my eyes. But that was then, this is now.
