try any industrial supplier...they can be ordered. Or look in yellow pages under fasteners and call around.

Are you sure it isn't 4X.7 standard metric course thread? 4X.5 is the fine thread. Canadian Tire (at least the one in my area) carries some metric cap screws.

well i used my thread pitch gauge and it is .6mm. sorta fits into a 4mm die.

i was at crappy tire and parts stores. the closest fit is #6-32, but obviously not right. i'll try hobby stores tomorrow. never thought of that.

there is a .6 pitch...it's an odd ball....

Your best bet is, like Cocked&Locked says, an industrial fastener supply place. You won't find the odd ball stuff in Crappy Tire or any other retail shop.

very unlikely to find 0.60 in 4mm

I pitch of 0.60 in 4mm will be a special run. It is very unlikely that you will find them as a standard product.

0.70 is standard and I have lots in stock here, but then again, you can get 0.70 just about anywhere. If you absolutely require a 0.60 pitch, we can make it for you, but it will cost a pretty penny of set-up time.

You may be better off filling your hole and re-tapping at 0.70. The cost of the filler, tap and screw will be less that manufacturing a few of the 0.60
