Looking for an AR scope with some zoom please help

I'm looking to buy a new AR 15, 16" and I'm looking for an AR scope with some zoom, I was looking at the Bushnell AR 223 1-4x and it's nice for $200. They had a 3.5x12 and a 6x18 for only $10 and $20 more which I thought was weird, once I looked through them I realized the eye relief and the quality of the glass in the 1x4 was much better. I'm looking for something to shoot from 100-200 yards maybe hitting gongs at 300 once in a while. I like the look of the Bushnell/ AR style scopes vs the rifle scopes, can I get a 1x7 or better with similar quality to the Bushnell 1x4 AR 223 for $300-$500. I know you have to spend to get good glass and I might upgrade in the future but if I can find something as good as the 1x4 but with better zoom for $400 that would be great.

Wont get a good 1-7 under 800-1000.
Get the bushnell 1-4 30mm tube

Anything of good quality in a 1-8.5x range will blow your budget a few times over. Get the Bushnell 1-4x PCL Throwndown. They're great scopes for the money
