Does anyone know where to find such a bear Norinco is fine. Was cleaning my bolt when I got the brainwave that I should take it apart like the sks to avoid the possibility of a slamfire. Came apart great, Cleaned everything sparkley and was putting together (This is where 4 hands come in, well, handy). was using the m14 multi-tool to hold the ejector in while I put the extractor and spring detent into it slipped (Who didn't see that comming) and launched somewhere, yes I am retarded however now I need an ejector. That is the funny part about these rifles the rifles seem to be everywhere and the parts are nowhere. A point in the right direction. Tried Numrich and got a PFO letter. Any Canadian sources or does someone have one kicking around from a USGI UpGrade. Any help is appreciated as my M14s is a rather expensive paper weight at the moment.

And I think this is why the manual says in large letters not to take the bolt apart because you need a special tool to get it back together.

Good luck in your search. Have you called Marstar yet?

Yeah that would be the same manual that says not to attempt your own gunsmithing. I disregard that part. Even though it was a stupid mistake, the stupid part was that I didn't take precautions "just in case" like I usually do when working with springy parts. I do know what I am doing and am not afraid to venture out of my comfort zone if I don't. I did learn not to make that mistake again. I just wish it was not such a rare part. Thanks Oldsmobiler, I have access to a suitable tool. I appreciate it all the same.

Thanks imbane I will check that out. when I put together my AR Lower I actually sat in my bathtub plug in and shower curtian closed. Yes safety glasses were worn. Worked great every thing just droped into the tub and was easy to find.

A picture of that would confirm the "I am retarded" portion of your original message. "What do you do for fun, Johnny? I sit in my bathtub and play with guns" :)

You don't shower with your guns? Don't know if you got the right stuff to be a Canadian Gun Nut. Try putting the guts in an AR lower and you will soon see some inovation is nessesary.

I have a buddy who says he (on more than one occasion) showered with his 870, he said it was a great way to clean it.

bolt tools are worth the 50 to 75.00 they cost to get yer mitts on one. Cuz at this time , it's easier to get a bolt tool than a replacement norinco part.

On the bright side, a USGI or Sprinfield ejector will also work.
If you have no luck finding a replacement...... p.m. me in 2 weeks, I'll have a spare ;)
