Would someone be able to tell me a fair selling price for a late 1960s Marlin 336 in 30-30?

Condition is excellent, nearly "like-new". Very few rounds, likely around 50-60 shots total.

Thank you

Between 400 and 600 dollars depending on condition.

If there is any rust or discolouring at all look at the bottom figure. If the bluing and stock is spotless and the barrel and chamber are free of any corrosion than look at the higher amount.

Number of shots taken is irrelevant if a rifle hasn't been stored properly.

Old Marlins should probably be in the price range stated above. However, with the apparent interest and demand for old JM-marked Marlins, they seem to fetch quite a bit more. This is partly due to the multitude of 'Remlins' and such.

Similarly, pre-64 Win-94s are often hot ticket items that previously would have been a couple hundred but now seem 'worth' 2x - 3x that.

One of the first centerfire rifles I bought was a marlin of this vintage. I paid 500 bucks for it and a weaver scope, near perfect condition.

I’d say 5-650 bucks

I don't want one but if one as described "Condition is excellent, nearly "like-new". Very few rounds, likely around 50-60 shots total." were offered at $400 I'd buy it and ask if there was another available.

Rifle prices are creeping up on the constant.
If the rifle is as described, I'm in the $750 range as well.
Hard to beat the greatness of these old ker-pows.
Lots to like 'bout'dem.
