Looking for BCG recommendations for a CC IUR

Hello everyone,

I was fortunate enough to nab a Colt Canada/Diemaco stripped lower when I was in the shop picking up my SIG 516 this week. I will be getting the IUR for the upper and was looking for suggestions on a quality bolt carrier group. I have read a few different reviews on different BCG's, but all of the recommended BCG's were from users in the states and they don't appear to be readily available up here in Canada. A shop here in Toronto recommends the "High Standard" BCG for the IUR.

If anyone has any recommendations for a BCG that is relatively "painless" to acquire up here, as well as any other recommendations on what I should grab for the CC lower/IUR, I'd love to hear them. I'm trying to keep it as close to OEM CC/Diemaco products as possible, but I understand just how difficult it can be getting those said parts. Sorry if you have seen this thread a million times.

I would put a Fail Zero Nickel Boron coated BCG in it if I was you. I bough one for my latest 300BLK build and it is really nice. And at $200 I don't think you can beat it.

spikes tactical are good as well and under 200$ I have a spikes as my emergency spare bcg, but I cant remember where I got it from!

For the fail zero do you have to change your existing hammer for the fail zero one when you put in one of those fail zeros bcg? I don't remember

appreciate that, definitely going to take a look at that. the guy at the shop that I picked up my lower from today mentioned that the high standard BCG was actually recommended by an employee at Colt Canada as an alternative to a Colt BCG. I don't have any reason to doubt him other then he's technically a salesman.
