Looking for brass

Hey everyone,

Been looking for 7mm rem mag and 300 win mag brass, was wondering if any one can point me in the right direction to find it? I've tried a lot of different stores, and a lot of the sponsors of this fourm with out any luck. Any info would be great. Others looking for brass feel free to hijack the thread if your having problems finding it to or other calibers.

Same problem out here in the middle of nowhere.

I finally got lucky at the swap meet yesterday and came home with almost 200 pieces of 7mm RM once-fired brass. Majority of it was Winchester, 24 Norma, 8 Rem, 12 Federal.

It's all tumbled, resized, trimmed, chamferred, and ready to go now. ( I was up until midnight working on it and checking it out.

Got some (75) Berger 168 gr VLD Hunting bullets for $20.00, too
A pound of "L'il Gun" for $30

It sometimes pays to wait until the meet is almost over to make purchases. Guys just want it gone and will accept lower offers just so they don't have to pack it up and take it home again. I hit the meet when the doors opened at 10:00, spent an hour there, then to the range for 2 1/2 hours. Decided on one last walk through before the meet ended at 2:00. Glad I did
 
Being out in the middle of nowhere will do that. Being here in London isn't any better though. Gun shows are usually good places for brass, but most shooters buy loaded ammo to gather cases when starting out.
Anyway, did you ask your local shops about ordering some? Be prepared to pay up front and you may have to wait if their supplier doesn't have it in stock.

The one place that's here drastically overcharges for their stock. They have once-fired 7mm RM in bags of 20 for $15. I refuse to pay that much
I paid a total of $40 for the 200 pieces that I got at the swap meet.

As for them ordering it in.....................for get it!
