Heys guys

New to the .45 calibre club and am looking to purchase bulk for the range.

Seems that not many retailers are offering 45 in the 1000+ quantity

Any leads for decent deals in that area ?

SFRC/The Ammo Source has a bunch of 1k cases of .45ACP in stock. They're just North of Kingston if you are buying enough to be worth the drive but they aren't too bad on shipping prices either.
Barnaul steel cased for $429
Blazer aluminum cased for $519
S&B brass cased for $499

All 230gr FMJ rounds.

Reloading is the cheapest option and best savings are achieved when also casting your own bullets. Not everyone has the time or facilities to reload though in which case I'd look at the cheapest options which are usually steel cased ammo anywhere you look.
 
If you don't reload you could sell your brass to someone who does. I have seen .45 ACP brass from around $8/100 (small pistol primer NT) to $22/100 (fella was a bit optimistic IMHO)
 
i've been buying the WOLF .45 cases for 409 from The Ammo Source. I been really liking it too. super clean due to the total metal jacket, so no lead fouling in the barrel, and HOT loads too!
 
Agree on the wolf reloads from ammo source, had no problem shooting them at all pretty high quality stuff. I had to wait for them to be in stock, it took a few weeks but in general was worth the wait considering prices

Dominion Outdoors is selling 1000 rounds of Russian steel cased and shiny zinc coated (looks like nickel plated) Barnual 230 gr. copper jacketed FMJ for $430 with free shipping and charge Ontario buyers only the 5% GST, hard to beat this deal at only about $451 for 1000 delivered free. Ammo shoots very well out of my carbine too.
