looking for cast 45-70 bullets

I've been trying to find some affordable bullets for reloading, looking to purchase 500 or so. My rifle is a Marlin 1895G stainless mfd in 2006.

bullet barn is on the sunshine coast probably the best because shipping will be expensive from farther away
 
I'd put some research to work when purchasing cast bullets, is the diameter right for your gun? Is the hardness right to allow some expansion, does the bullet design create large wound channels even if they may not expand? Match bullet hardness to the velocity that you plan to use and don't settle for less, put more thought into cast bullet purchases then jacketed because more can "go south" with the wrong cast bullet!
 
The bullet barn's 405gr gas checked bullets are sized to .459" and worked well in my Marlins and any other rifle Ive tried them in (I've only used them with smokeless loads). They are very hard, not sure at all if they work well on game though as they are likely too hard for significant expansion.


I recently bought some bullets from Ben (a Saeco 530gr mould) cast in 25:1 for my Shiloh sharps. My Shiloh loves them. As a guy that casts my own, and spends a fair bit of time working on maximal bullet consistency, I can say that Ben's bullets are of a significantly higher quality. Those Bullet Barn bullets are certainly good for 100 yard target practice in a Marlin though.
