Looking for Components

Recently picked up a Martini Action in 40-70 (2.1"), however I'm having some issues acquiring the die (custom) for it.

40-70 SBN 2.1 (Shiloh) Part # 55000 (denotes custom)

Does anyone know where one can get a handle on such a beast (here in Canada preferably of course)?

Dies avail. from Buffalo Arms in the USA or CH4D for the Sharps Bottleneck, I don't believe they would be sitting on the shelf here in Canada.

Where you are matters.
There are two types of .40-70. Straight and bottlenecked. You need to know which one you have. You should do a chamber cast to be sure.

Definitely a bottle neck...!

Edit: Found the current Item number: RCBS #56678 .40-70 Siloh Sharps Bottle Neck 2.1" .408

Buffalo is going to see if they can (or will) order it in...if not I'll be checking with Huntingtons.
