hey im new to this cgn thing but i really want to buy a cz 858 my cousin has one and i fell in love with it. im also open to an sks or any other non restricted "red rifle" that im un awware of. i cannot purchase one at the moment but i will definatly buying in the near future. please post if u can give me any information on where i can find these guns cheap

I'm sure whatever local store you are close to will order one for you at the going rate. My local store told me that they could order anything I wanted. Go and ask them.

Have a look at the SVT-40. I just picked one up from Badger (see banner up top). It's a bit more expensive than the SKS, and the ammo is more expensive too. The good part is that it is a way nicer than the SKS. More accurate.
I would buy one of each, and shoot 20 0r 30 rounds through SVT, then switch to the SKS and scratch the itch with another 100 rounds affordably. I take it one step further now and crack out the 22's with scopes for shooting games at 50 meters. This is my favorite firearm, ever.

Get the CZ858. Its the best "red rifle" out there. Once I bought my CZ858, I got rid of my SKS because it never got used any more. The CZ is nice and light, accurate, and looks awesome. Its a step up from a AK47 also. Much more refined than a AK. There are'nt many Gun Shops in Ontario that keep the CZ858 in stock so you are better off buying from a store that is a sponsor from canadiangunnutz, up at the top of the page like Wolverine here.... http://www.wolverinesupplies.com/default.asp?Pg=8&do=4&mcid=1&scid=12&mfid=98

Check on Equipment Exchange in the Red Rifle section, and you can get a really good deal on a used one. Often you can buy them with very little use, or some like the one that I bought, was unfired from the owner and was a safe queen that he regretted buying due to time restrictions, he was unable to use it, so I took it off his hands with a crate of ammo, muzzle brake, and 2 stocks, for the same price of a brand new one, just by itself.

hey thanks for the insight like i said in the first post the 858 is my first choice anyways. my cousin already owns one so iv shot them before. your right my friend it is so much better than the ak mechanically. it brings new meaning to "as fast as you can pull the trigger". iv checked out wolverine but its a matter of having the $700 to spend at the moment. im definatly going to check ot the ee's im new to cgn so im just getting settled in i guess u cud say
