Whats the difference between a benchrest primer and standard CCI primer? Honestly don't know.

from what ive been told the BR primers are more exact standards, some say they are the first few thousand in a new die set. My guess is more exacting standards and weights when each one is made. Makes for more accurate loads if you have the capability.

I think your right, same idea behind the fed 210/215 and fed 210m/215m, the "m" standing for match grade.
