Looking For Factory 284 cal. ammunition

Been looking to purchase factory ammunition for a 284 cal. rifle. Checked with Cabelas and Wholesale sports, no luck.

Was told Winchester did make some in a power point 150 gr. , but no one seems to have any. Is the brass available?

brass is out there just not very common. probably easier to find 6.5 284 and neck it up.

And if you use Norma or Lapua brass to start with, you will end up with much better quality brass

Thanks, I did try them. They did have a couple of boxes a while back, but not anymore.

Very much a handloader's cartridge unfortunately. You can set yourself up to make good loads for $150 or less with a lee hand press and dies, I'd go that way.
