Me and my friend are looking for farm where we could shoot some clay targets in midland area. We have our own machine. Currently we are members of few clubs in Ontario and trap shooting enthusiasts. Because there are no clubs in this area and we are in cottage on weekends we are missing out on shooting. We are willing to compensate the owner of the property for letting us shoot.

Are you going to clean up your shot? Not too many farmers want heavy metals thrown all over their fields.

Do Ontario farmers care about a few guys blowing off a few cases of shot shells and clays on the back forty?
I could care less as long as the plastic hulls are cleaned up. I am more pissed off at hunting guides trespassing and putting American clients on my land. And then there is rural thieving.

Just what every landowner wants...a bunch of broken clays and wads scattered about. Maybe find a club nearby even if it means an hours drive and go shoot there while at the cottage. We used to get a handful of cottagers every summer at the North Bay Skeet & Trap Club back when it was still in existence.
