Hello,
has anyone ever used these primers? I have been using CCI and WIN primers for some time now and happy with them, but the way things are these days with getting primers it would be nice to have more than 2 choices

has anyone used these?
any feed back on them?

I'm having a hell of a time with them in my Loadmaster loading IVI 9mm with the crimp VERY removed.
A lotta brass shaving's and not seated properly on a lotta of em.

I have never had a problem with S&B primers and, as such, I have over 40,000 of the primers in large and small pistol (I got them at a great price);)....

Well I loaded out my first 1K of the S&B primers on my new 650XL. They ran through the priming sytem no problem.

On the range though I ran into some problems. Of the 100 odd rounds I put down range I had 5 fail to fire. I ran them all through the gun a second time with no joy!

They don't appear to be high so I am guessing they were just dead primers.

Not good.

Anyone else run into this?

John

I'm thinking that such things will happen to us at some point just due to the statistical likelihood of errors in the manufacturing process...nothing is 100% perfect all the time. I had a batch of .45-70s with WLR primers where, out of 1 sleeve of a 100, everything was fine, but with the second sleeve, I had multiple duds.
