Looking for first hand experience on Siii, And Viper Pst

I have both a Sightron III 8 32x56 & the Vortex PST 6 24x50 FFP. I like them both for similar reasons to a lot of the other comments already made. If I could only go with one ... I think I would lean towards the Sightron but again it would depend on the type of shooting Im doing. All my scopes are MOA/MOA - reticle/turrents because I hate trying to remember all kinds of different calculations/conversions in my head especially when Im not crazy about math and switching between target and hunting rifles.

.......... but with Sightron coming out with a FFP ... sigh ... this means I need to purchase another rifle so I can purchase this scope to put it on something! However with that being said I would love to get one of those March 8 80x56 scopes ... and a S&B PMII - cant hurt to dream a bit!

Lol if I was always dreaming about everything I want and not what I can afford i would drive myself mad... actually never mind I already do.... and my wife too!

Do we know any idea when and who will have the FFP sightrons? I am down for a couple for sure. I just hope that we can get them in stock enough that I can grab one.

Wonder who will have them...?

Jerry...... ;)

The sightron FFP scopes were shown at SHOT. They are not listed in the 2013 catalog. SHOT does not necessarily mean product is ready to roll.

Earliest we can see anything is 4 to 6 months IF demand was enough to warrant production. Hard to believe that would not have happened but last year, some stuff took 1 yr to make it to the shelves.

I have no clarity on productin, timing, prices.... NADA.

But will happily announce to all when I get some details.

Jerry

Meanwhile I have found a few sites that sell the pst's but does anyone know any websites that I can order a sightron from? I have only found one or two in Canada. one that is located In East of Ontario preferably?
Much appreciated thank you.

There's also Hirsch Precision in Nova Scotia - Peter Dobson - Google it - it's easy to find.

Im picking up a 6-24x PST in FFP soon for my 10 PC in 308, can't wait to get it out shooting! I run a 20moa rail and should be able to get out to about 1200 yards!

You might also want to have a look at the Bushnel Elite Tactical Scopes. I know I know... Bushnell?
But they have some interesting stuff these days 2.5 to 16 zoom, 5.5 to 30 zoom, 3.5 to 21 zoom.
That's worth having a look.
I like the sounds of 3.5 to 21 so you can hunt in the woods and bean fields.

I run a 4-16 FFP PST on one of my rifle and for the price it is a top notch scope. Apparently some people may not believe it, but I have used it out to 1400 yards.

This list is rigged and I can't believe I am the first to notice!!!

Not necessarily true. Each discipline has its equipment followers. Perhaps the discipline that you participate in is more geared towards Sightron, but I see more Vortex than Sightron scopes in this list...
