Looking for front sling mount band for BPR

Hey everyone

I'm trying to track down the front sling mount band for my BPR in 30-06. The barrel diameter at the mount point is approx. 0.700".

The local gun shop is having a hard time finding one that will fit. We can find one for the Rem 7600 (diameter 0.660") which we thought we might be able to use, but it is too small.

Anyone know where I can find one??

Try the Uncle Mikes shotgun model for 20 gauge it may fit nicely. That's what I used on my handi Rifle .45-70 Sorry I no longer have the rifle to measure for you.

Try taking the 7600 one and cutting it at the halfway point, to give two pieces. Attach them on the barrel and see how sturdy it is.

The Butler Creek 20ga is a two piece system, and only goes half way around the barrel. But its diameter is .770, so it would be too big for your barrel. I've had no problems with the two piece 20ga mount.

Thanx for getting back to me guys -- I was able to rig up the Rem 7600 band by just sliding it a little further down the bbl than I wanted to -- but it'll do the job. I'll be posting a pic shortly.
