Looking for help with a special request.....

Yesterday I posted a Want to Buy ad in the Black Rifle EE forum; it is for a Norinco M311-1 rifle . The intent is to give it to Darren Cole of One Shot Tactical for being a long time supporter and retailer of my signature sling from Blue Force Gear.

I know what you guys are thinking - why that Norc rifle with the goofy Chicom furniture ? Well it's really quite simple ; Darren has agreed to let me shoot the rifle when I visit Canada and that weapon has never been sold in the USA - and since I am paying for it as a gift he didn't mind at all !!

The reason I am posting here is to ask for help finding the rifle - I want it in new to like new condition with the original Chinese furniture. I will pay a premium for it and would ask that any potential leads be PM'd to me here at CGN or sent to my website email address of Larry@vickerstactical.com

Once we get the rifle and I travel north again I expect to do a photo shoot and write an article on it along with the Norc M4 for a yet to be determined US gun magazine. If and when that happens I'll make sure I do a shout out to CGN for the help !!!

Larry, the 311 rifles havent been produced now for a while now. Inturn finding a new to relatively new rifle might by a little hard to come by. Last ones I saw on the EE were painted tiger stripe.
 
Thanx for the suggestion on the Chinese M14 - I have one from back in the day when they were legal for import into the USA so I am good to go

A guy at my range has one, I'll look into it. Won't be new though, I'd say less than 1k rounds.
 
Sorry, I posted a link to a guy that had one for $500, but I guess if a CGN dealer doesnt have it, you're not allowed to buy it.
 
they had one for sale at CRAFM 514-635-4867 who is a sponsor on this site. It was used, but it amazing condition. Don't know if its still there, but it may be worth a quick phone call... call them after 3pm and ask to speak to JP.... he'd get a kick out of getting a phone call from you! lol

spoke to JP tonight, his friend has the rifle I was referring to... and willing to make a deal! Give JP a call at the number I posted between 3:30pm and 9:00pm tomorrow (Friday). He is made aware of the situation and ready to help.
