Looking for help with value of some Rugers

Looking for a value of 3 Rugers

First is a (approx 1974) M77 tang safety 6mm in varmint barrel. Been bedded with a timney trigger.
Decent shape with unknown (high) round count.

44mag carbine. 60's? Looks identical to a 10/22. Internal magazine.
Refinished wood. Low rounds. Very clean.

No1B in 6mm. Looks almost new. Older 70's?


These are not for sale just trying to get a value.

I second this..... however will take a couple educated guesses in the meantime....

Older tang safety in 6mm, looking at about $650, but you would have to work to find a buyer due to chambering...

44 mag carbine..... even with refinished wood, these seem to be desirable.... not my thing but assuming it's a decent refinish job Inwoukd say $800 (again, these seem to go quick on EE)

#1b.... again, 6mm hurts value IMOP..... but some guys like the off the beaten path cartridges... assuming it's in VG condition $1100 would be my estimate.....

Hoytcanon should be along shortly to put me in my place, in fact I have bought and sold many Rugers over the last few years and he has always been spot on in regards to price...... pics would help as well....

Tang safety rifles only retain their value in factory original condition, but the 6mm is a desireable cartridge in the 77, unfortunately not as much in the heavy barrel. With hjgh round count on the current market and without pictures... $450-$525 depending on condition.

Internal mag??? Do you mean tubular magazine? With non-original wood finish and without pictures $600-$750 depending on condition.

The No.1-B is the least desireable version on the current market (value wise), but the 6mm is one of the more desired cartridges... in "almost new" condition $1150 to the right buyer... $1050 to everyone else.

All prices include shipping, all dependent on actual condition.

The guys above did a good job of nailing the current market prices.

It's odd enough that it doesn't appeal to the .308, .270, .30-06 regulars..... so a tougher sale unless you can find someone looking for that configuration..... and this especially applies to the #1 as it's a 1b..... which is lesser in demand than the 1a etc to begin with.....

Edit: hoyt beat me to the #1 stuff....
 
The guys who like 6mm, REALLY like 6mm... they usually sell fast and for a little more than other cartridges.
 
#1 - $600........$750

#2 - $700........$850 (refinished wood could be a big detractor)

#3 - $1000......$1200

As mentioned........condition means everything.

6mm certainly has a "cool factor" over .243...... I will give both of you guys that.....

Personally, I have an affinity for .308 based cases and have enough "cool factor" rifles for now that need load development (not to mention a whole new reloading setup to put together before I can even start).....
 
I am one of the "oddballs" who happens to really like the 6mm Remington chambering.
I bought my first one in an older flat bolt Ruger 77R, and was immediately hooked.
Shot a number of Vancouver Island deer and back bear with it, and never had to shoot
twice at any of them.
That being said, I doubt any animal would be able to distinguish the 6mm from a 243.

I like the .308 case and the X57 case and shoot both at 6mm.
