Hello,
One of my hunting buddies picked up a rifle the other day...it is blued with a synthetic stock....the action is stamped sako and the barrel is stamped "north american arms - grizzly model 60". It is a .308. I cannot find any information about this gun and i'm hoping somebody over here may know something.
Thanks in advance

Might try searching NAACO. Was a line manufactured, I believe, for the Herters Company out of, I believe, Minnesota. Sako was likely only one of a half dozen companys that made rifles for them. Sorta like a Cabella,s of yesteryear. I had, up til last year, I had 2 catalogs from them dating back to the early to mid sixtys. Gives you somewhere else to search if nothing more!

Company out of BC made them. North American Arms was a outfit that built semi custom rifles, usually on Sako actions. Good guns usually. I did a bit of loading and test shooting for one in 338 Imperial Magnum (forerunner to the 338 RUM) for Rembo a while back. Nice shooting rifle, though it kicked a tad. - dan
