Hi Im looking for a M1a gunsmith near Stratford Ontario. I would like my rifle looked at because im lost to what the issue is can zero scop shots high driving me nuts

We need a lot more details, ie scope make, mount make and rifle make. A good place to start is checking that your scope mount is installed correctly and according to the supplied instructions. Norinco doesn't make an M1A ( Springfield). They mfg. m14. m14s , m305 all clones.

Possibly an issue between your mount and receiver specs.

sorry for the newbie crap. when i put the mount and scope on i made sure it was all level to the rifle is that what you mean.. where in ontario do you live and are you a gunsmith or even someone that would be willing to go over my M14.. I had the same problem with my Norc M14. The scope mount did not point where the barrel pointed, I could not zero the scope, so I sold the rifle.

That fixed my problem.
