Looking for imput on Browning BAR .22

Bar 22

I have a BAR 22 that I purchased used about 4 years ago. Haven't had any problems with it , ie. no jams, failure to feed etc. Shoots decently as far a accuracy goes (not a tack driver, but a good gopher gun). I haven't regretted the purchase at all.

Hope this helps!

Bar 22

I bought my BAR 22 new in 1976 and it has been the best 22 I have ever owned. I have 6 others and none of them are as nice to shoot.
With any Browning, you need to keep in clean. I'm OCD with all of my guns and they never jam or miss feed. If your Browning jams, it's because you didn't keep it clean.
Mine is a tack driver. I have a 3 X 9 Bushnell Scope Chief on it and my groups are 3/8" at 100 yards.
Buy it, you'll never regret it.
Or, if you don't want it, call me.

Are you referring to the Browning semi-auto .22 ('takedown') model, or the specific model called the BAR-22 (brother to the BPR-22)?

the semi auto one they list on the site it has a really small action with a stock that looks way to big and then a hand grip doesn't look comfortable and it looked to me like the stock would wieght to much

they are a great rifle and easy to strip and assemble, if mounting a scope mount with cantaliver on barrel to maintain zero when stripping, cant hold a ton of rounds like a 10/22 but still alot of fun to shoot
