Looking for info on a Baikal 22

Looking for any info on a new to me Baikal T0Z-17, 22. I have searched the net but not found anything. I know that it is from the Tula factory in the USSR. 5 round clip, bolt action. Mine came with a little 4 x scope, the rear peep sites were removed to fit the scope.
Diagrams, instructions, links, anything appreciated.

first off it is a TOZ-17.
sometimes made in Tula sometimes Vostok.
you are more likely to find info with that..
not that there is much out there..

it`s a pretty old model of the TOZ .22 rifle....
my TOZ-17 is dated 1960....it`s the only gun that was sold
in the USSR with a scope and suppressor....it has a thread at the barrel :)
shoots very well for the almost 50 years old gun :)

the rear sight supposed to be from 25 to 200m

I would not think mine is threaded. Those look like metal lathe marks. The thickened end of the barrel looks more like a decorative / protective feature. It is wider on the inside, perhaps that could be threaded for a silencer....mine isn't.


Does anyone know if the trigger can be adjusted? Any instructions?

These are great little shooters, tried a friends and had to have one. The 2 stage trigger on the TOZ compared to both my Model 64B and my Marlin 917 HM2 kicks A$$. It's light and crisp and so much fun to poke holes with.

Maybe, but it looks way better than a ramp welded or bolted on any day.
 
Dont get me wrong guys, I used to have one of these 22s too fellas.
I pulled off some pretty weird shots with one in Saskatchewan on rabbits.

One of those little rifles I should never have sold!
I did recently buy a Toz-8M though.....
