I recently acquired a Parker Hale .270 rifle from my grandfather. There’s no model number or anything that I can see, the barrel is stamped “Parker Hale LTD Birmingham, England”. Just want some more info on the gun and maybe an approximate value if anyone knows. I can’t aeem to figure out how to add pictures on here either

Pics are pretty much required if you want an accurate value. You can use imgbb.com to set up hosting.
Somewhere between $300-$500 without seeing what it is.

Does it have a detachable magazine?
Heavy gun, but generally accurate guns.
For reference, I had a 300 Winmag PH Safari. Leupold 3-9x50mm and it weighted in @10 pounds loaded with 180grn Nosler Partions.

^ my old Parker Hale 7mm Mag weighs just over 8lbs with a 50mm scope, all my modern guns weigh more. So I guess 'heavy' is relevant.

It is quite likely that the Parker-Hale you have will be a very accurate, and functional rifle.
Most shoot exceptionally well, and are solid rifles built on Mauser actions, either ex-military or commercial.
I have 2 identical P-H rifles in 308 Norma Magnum. Both are moa rifles with loads they like.
We do need pictures to evaluate, though. Post them through a host, like imgur. Eagleye.

I don't know all the proper model names.... I think this is an 1100 Deluxe with the funky triangular fore stock. It's a 30-06 and not a heavy monster.

This on is an 1100 Lightweight I think, 6.5x55 and not heavy at all. I think it's the 1200's that have the big heavy wood on them.

OP - The model is a 1200. If it has a removeable clip it is a 1200c. The rakish styling went out of fashion in the last century, which can limit the appeal on the resell market. Its got few bumps and bruises, assuming the scope isn't particularly valuable, its value would be in the order of $400 ...

Lots of metal wear, recoil pad looks pooched, $350 probably would be the top end if someone actually wanted to buy it.
