hi I'm looking for info on an old winchester model 1890 pump action
.22 short s/n#34052
barrel length- 24" octagon
bluing heavy worn and stock in fair condition I'm looking to sell but need info.

I've got the same rifle action/receiver, but with a round barrel.
My Winnie has two additional patents stamped on the barrel.
The rifle still shoots flawlessly.

I'll dig up the background info my dad passed on to me.

Give me a few days to get back to you...this Xmas thing is going to keep me hopping for awhile.

Go to the Gunbroker.com"Ask the experts" forum. There's a couple Winchester guru's there that can tell you exact year of MFG.
I suspect the round barrl rifle is a 1906.
