Hi, I'm looking to buy a new rifle and was seriously considering the browning x-bolt in 7mm. I was wondering if anyone out there has experience with the model and can give me some feedback on it.

Thanks all

Nice rifle! comfortable to shoot and carry. The new recoil pad on the x-bolt makes a world of difference (or at least it did with my 325wsm).OHHHH almost forgot the new mag on the x-bolt is ass over tea kettles better then the a-bolts mag and hindged floor plate set up.

I bought the X bolt White Gold in 7 rem mag last year and shot a few different boxes of ammo and found that it likes the Federal 160 grain Nosler Partitions best. I think it was well worth the money. Very comfortable to shoot.

Bought an x-bolt stainless stalker composite in a smaller caliber a year ago ... and love it!! Shot it a fair amount and always happy with its performance.

I really liked my rifle in 280 and will get another one soon - traded mine off as I needed soemthing else at the time. But it shot well (MOA or better) and I like the features in the rifle like the mag, the bolt safety, the trigger adjustment, the composite stock and great accuracy out of the box. Light weight too. Do it!

I am very happy with the trigger and how gentle my X-bolt in 300 Win mag shoots.I think the plastic mag is rather tacky with a fancy wood stock but it works just fine.

Thanks for all the info people! I really like the gun and I read some forums that really bashed the 7mm wsm and it seemed fishy and that they were all similar so I didn't trust it and it is good to hear great hints about the gun bc I really want to pick one up.
