Looking for info on maker "Goellner in Suhl"

Does anyone have any info on a gunsmith working out of Suhl in the 1830-40's? This person made beautiful high end pieces. I have one on the bench that I am working on for someone. It is the nicest percussion/flintlock pistol I have physically had my hands. The attention to detail and craftsmanship are just exquisite. Really curious to know more about this maker.

Curious on the west coast

I'm sorry I can't help you, my library doesn't cover Germany. You will need to find someone who has a copy of Der Neue Stockel (a 3-volume set, first published in 1938, and reissued in 1978-79). That is probably the only source I know of for the information you seek. Not many copies of the books are around, and they were very expensive. I don't know of anyone this side of the Atlantic who has it.
 
You could try the “little gun” website. It’s an incredible resource and he has info on many, many, many firearms makers. You can look by country and name of designer.
