Ok so I own an 887 for waterfowl and turkey, and through some research I have learned that I should not use a tighter long range choke with rem's hypersonic steel load. So I ended up at SAIL today looking at choke tubes and it appears that there is different threading for the versamax, 1100 and some of their over unders as opposed to the 870 and 887. does anyone have first hand knowledge of this? Looked in my manual for my 887 with no explanation, checked rem's website with the same luck. Clerk at the store didn't have a clue either.
