Looking for info on the Ace .22 rifle from about 1909

Hi, a friend of mine has an Ace .22 that he messaged me about. It seems to be functional and in good condition except it has a rear sight on it that doesn’t seem to be correct. I wasn’t familiar with the Ace but he was hoping that I could find out a bit more about it in hopes of also finding a proper rear sight.

Who made these and any leads on a rear sight?

Yes, it was made by Cooey. Rear sight depends on what model of Ace it is. The model should be marked on the barrel. Some had a simple , thin fold down peep sight.

Not 1909 I guarantee. Likely the mid to late 20s into the 30s
