Hello all,

My first post and glad to have found you all.

I am in the market for a Inglis Hi-power. I would like a as NIB example as i can find. Decal is not important.

My question: how do you not get taken on a search like this?

It seems like it would be easy for the reparks to be passed off as VG condition.
I started by looking for some small part at least of a decal so as to avoid the reparks....

Any advice or know of any dealers who have some unmessed with Inglis's?

First of all, welcome. Secondly, I believe that any NIB canadian contract guns will have the decal, the other option being chinese contract guns, which will have the tangent sight. As to not getting taken in by repark, better start taking them apart and looking for wear thats showing under the parkerizing (uneven, worn or radiused parts that should be flat or square. Thats all I can add, others here are more knowledgeable. Good luck!
